Safety & Reporting
Get help, report a problem, or contact a regulator.
Last updated:
Effective October 2026.
Your safety comes first. Here is how to get help during a trip, how to report a problem afterwards, and how to contact the regulators who license Ridelynk in King County and Seattle.
1. In an emergency, call 911
If you or anyone else is in immediate danger, call 911 first. Ridelynk support is not an emergency service.
2. Before you get in
- Check that the driver's photo, name, vehicle and licence plate match what the app shows.
- Look for the King County for-hire decal in the windshield.
- Fares are paid only in the app. Never pay a driver in cash.
3. Report an issue in the app
Open the trip, tap Report an issue, choose what happened and describe it. You can report collisions, safety concerns, discrimination, or anything else. Drivers can report collisions and crimes committed against them the same way. We review every report and keep a record of it for at least 2 years.
4. Reporting an impaired driver
If your driver seems to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, ask to end the trip when it is safe and report it in the app as “Driver seemed impaired”. Under our Zero-Tolerance Drug & Alcohol Policy the driver is suspended immediately while we investigate.
5. Complaints to regulators
You can complain directly to the agencies that license Ridelynk and its drivers:
King County Records & Licensing — For-Hire Licensing
- Email: forhiredriver@kingcounty.gov
- Phone: 206-263-1982
- In person: 201 S. Jackson St, Suite 206, Seattle, WA
City of Seattle — TNC regulation
- Email: tnc@seattle.gov
- Phone: 206-386-1267
6. Contact Ridelynk
For anything that isn't an emergency, email support@ridelynk.com or use our Contact page.
